Renaissance live on WDAV, Friday Dec. 7

Tune in to WDAV, 89.9 FM, noon on Friday as their yearly live holiday broadcast returns with a program of beloved carols and holiday music illuminated by scripture readings. The Singers of Renaissance headline the concert led by Robert Pritchard, and are joined by the Wingate University Singers under the direction of Kenney Potter. An original WDAV production. Re-airs on Sunday, December 9th from 6-7 PM and on Christmas Day, Tuesday December 25, from 4-5 PM.

Our 2012 Renaissance Apprenticeship Program Singers

As part of its nonprofit public service mission, Renaissance is committed to the support of young musicians in the field of choral music. We’ve adopted an apprenticeship program for promising Charlotte-area high school singers. This program was launched in 2007 to help talented high school singers develop their potential and their love of music. The addition of these young singers to our choir each holiday season is something the Renaissance singers always look forward to.
